HEART TO HEART FARM!
Grow to give. Give to grow.
Produce, flowers, natural branch arbors and...
music to feed Washington's hungry!
Heart To Heart Farm is nestled in the South Fork Valley of Whatcom County. 'Round here, I am known as the singing Farmer, Laurie Lee Lewis. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. For several years, Heart To Heart Farm was just my daughter and I . Miniature horses, chickens, border collies, cats, music, produce and flowers! But, when my daughter graduated and moved out, my heart opened to love again and Heart To Heart Farm was joined by a beautiful soul, from Southern Illinois. A handsome farmer named Michael Lee Tripp.
Our love story is pretty cool. We met on Farmers Only.com 3 years prior but only via email. Then, life unfolded in December of 2016, that let us finally meet face to face... heart to heart. Michael has been here now since January.
Together, we grow and sell healthy perennials in the Spring, produce and cut flowers in the summer, donate to the food banks, do an annual food drive drop off, (3rd Sunday of Sept) and... we also build custom natural arbors 'n trellises from branches and twigs for weddings and yards. As if that doesn't keep us busy, we also look after my 81 and 83 year old awesome farmin' parents just 4 acres away... and I still write and sing music! In fact, last summer, I received a new song called WHO WILL FEED THE HUNGRY while tilling up new soil to plant kale for the food bank. The song became a music video and has inspired others to give, to feed the hungry.
Lots a goin' on at Heart To Heart Farm.
